Licking the Bowl

We are having a heat pump installed in our house this week. Caden and Allyson are helping to make some bars for the workers. Allyson wanted to lick the bowl.

Rise Fest

Saturday night - Allyson and mom went to Rise Fest with Aunt Dana and Tyler. This is a free christian music festival. We had a great time listening to Mark Schultz.

Ireton's 125 yr celebration

Friday night were fireworks that were a lot of fun! Our friend Taylor and her family joined us for the show.
Saturday noon was the parade. Caden liked the tractors the best and Allyson liked the "Alligator" (Terrigator). We also liked the horses and picking up lots of candy.

Grandpa Wayne's Truck

Caden and Allyson like it when the Schwan's truck stops at our house - they especially love to see Grandpa Wayne. Sometimes he even lets them have a treat!

Helping out

Caden loves to help mow the lawn with Dad.

Allyson loves to help Mom with the flower garden.

Making Cookies??

Caden and Allyson are playing with Play-Doh and say they are "making cookies".

Angel

Since I am introducing our pets - I wanted to include a picture of Angel. She is our family dog, a Rottweiller. Caden loves our puppy. Ally loves the puppy, especially when Angel is in her kennel. (she can't run up to Allyson and catch her off guard)

Yow

This is the newest member or our pet family. This is Yow - that's right - Yow. As you can probably guess - the kids named the cat.
This is a stray cat that has been around our house for about 1 month now. It has become Caden and Allyson's newest friend. They absolutely love the cat and I would have to say that the cat loves them just as much.

Hello

Well, I guess I will start this and learn as I go. It can't be that hard, can it?
I wanted to try this to give all our loved ones an opportunity to keep up with our busy lives.
